Default Link mount spacers

So I have the Vanquish Currie rockjock axles I just installed along with the VP titanium link kit. The rod ends are a little smaller so they slide back and forth in the link mounts (both upper and lower mounts on axle side). What do people use for spacers, so should I not worry about the 2-4mm of sliding back and forth?

Hope that all makes sense i'm new to all this so i might describe things the wrong way. Any help would be great, trying to finish my build this morning, just gotta solder electronics and mount tires

I use some small metal/nylon washers (appropriate thickness)
even on the stock (plastic) link mounts...
minimizes plastic stress and mount disfiguration.
That and don't over tighten the bolt/nut.
using a nylock nut insures it's not coming loose.
and only requires it be snug.
