Default project box?

Ok so i have been lurking on this forum for years not really a newbie to rc crawling or 1:1. So i finally need some advice. I'm going to be moving my electronics and i have decided to use a RS project box. I'm liking where you guys are placing them i'm just curious about how you guys are mounting them and what to? if anyone could put a link or a picture showing how they mounted it it would be much appreciated. also i was wondering what is your guys prefereed method of waterproofing the box? here is some pics of my recently sold 1:1

I think most drill holes in the bottom to allow water to escape. All the while your electronics are waterproofed inside. Guys correct me if I'm wrong...

i used servo tape to anchor mine down - holds very well. i seal them up with some liquid electrical tape around the seam since it's WAY easier to get back into vs silicone or shoegoo and still seals it up. you can mount them to pretty much anything with a solid base. best solution for mounting would be to anchor onto some "boat side" sliders or to plates mounted on top of slider outriggers.

remember to pick up some servo extension wires so you can leave pigtails hanging out of your project boxes for quick disconnection w/o having to open it up.

here's mine. exterior's changed a bit since taken, but the electronics placement is pretty much the same. notice the velcro on the sides of the boxes - holds down my Honcho body along with the 2 hood pins - the servo tape is that strong and i haven't replaced it yet!
