Default SCX10 Link length?

Hi there,
I got a SCX10 Honcho chassis with no upper or lower links and will be making my own. Can anyone tell me the length of both the upper and lower/ front and rear lengths? From eye to eye or total length.
That would be awesome!

That all depends. What wheelbase are you looking for (Dingo, Honcho, etc.)?

Oops...I left that out. It is the Honcho. Thanks!

I can probably help you out with that but I am at work until late tonight. I just did my own links. I believe my longest ones were 5 1/4" eye to eye. My shortest ones were 4 3/4" eye to eye but I still have to put everything back together and check lengths. I plan on trimming as needed.

If you make the top ones a little longer you get a nicer drive shaft angle.

Ya that would be awesome. No rush. Whenever you get around to reassembling them I would love to know the measurements. Thanks

Thats funny you say this. I put on a suspension lift on my real truck and did this. It also gives you a little extra lift because it tilts your entire diff outwards. But then a mechanic told my that the drive shaft angle coming out of my transfer case is critical th match my drive shaft angle going into my Diff?

That's funny because I actually used all 5 1/4 links on my rear on accident and took notice to that. My drive shaft was practically straight into the axle without any bends on the joint

I have some extra material so I may fabricate some longer upper links to match the lowers but I will see what everything looks like when put back together later this week. I am going to take my axles apart on Wed and put some lithium silicon grease inside them before reassembly.

If I where you, I would get the body I was planning on running, and make the links match the wheelbase of that first... Also I know for real vehicles you want the Pinion of the diff pointing directly at the output it attaches to. This way when the suspension cycles it dosn't have a hard angle when the suspension is compressed, or unloaded.
