How difficult was it to build this truck? This would be my first ever kit. Great truck

I followed along with a youtube video when i came across something that didn't seem right (A few issues in the instructions) but i'd say if you're going to be getting into scale trail/crawling, this is a GREAT place to start, that way WHEN parts break (Not if) you know what and how to get/fix it

It's not hard to build the kit. It's tedious and time consuming just take your time and crawl on

Ordered the replacement servo gears late Friday night, and gears were waiting for me Monday. So my rig is back up and running. I'll be keeping the 2nd set of gears with me when/if it strips again until i can get a better servo

Also ordered the paint for the Cherokee body

Trimmed the front bumper off and raised the dingo bumper with servo mounts as well as trimmed the dingo flares and frame sliders to look more like the tube step bars I had

interior, silver 8 hole wheels, snorkel, and roof rack and my scale replica will be complete

I had ordered some JeepinDoug Losi Mini Spring perches as well as losi mini springs (The raminator springs i had orig purchased are WAY too soft)

So, springs came in today, perches last week.

Also, uncle gave me a stable mate for the SCX10

When the next update? Your rig looks great. I take it the 8 hole rims you're talking 'bout are Axial's 1.9 Beadlocks?

There are, but another 30+ feet beyond where I was at. I hadn't crossed the sign.

And update time
Trimmed up the Dingo body (RIP) for the interior which tucked into the XJ as well as attempted a replica of the taillights I had on my 1:1

And I should have 3 boxes awaiting me at home today
RC4WD snorkel, Axial Spyder rear bumper with swing out tire carrier, and a servo extention so i can run the headlights and tailights to the body and be able to disconnect them from the rig to take the body off.

And still in the mail is a set of the Axial 1.9 beadlocks (8-hole) with tires, but I only found a set of 4, i still need a 5th for the tire carrier

Last on the list will be a roof rack and some scale accesories.
