Ordered a new axle housing after i got home from the comp and will be drilling thru holes in the shock towers to run a bolt and nut to fasten the shocks rather than just threading into the stock shock hoop.

Also going to make some stainlses rock sliders and then attempt front and rear bumpers. Going to try to max out my scale points.

Great run yesterday Tyler! That was some crazy 2 wheel action on the bridge. Your truck performed great! Let me know when it's up & running.

Thanks, yours too!!

You make some solid links for albert's truck yet? lol

For mine, just waiting on the new axle housing, i'll have the shocks hoops drilled out and remounted tonight.
I'm also trying to sell/trade my steering setup so i can get the steering Dan's got with the XR mod.

But will do! Now i'm ready for a night run!!

Registered for the upcoming Coven Quest G6 in Belleview Florida, so gotta get the rig ready

It's almost there but will never be done.

So i've ordered the following:

Crawler Innovations Deuces Wild Single Stage Closed Cell 4.25" - 4.19" to stuff inside the R35 Ripsaws which i'm very happy with

And after pulling the blue monkey panhard mount free twice now from the axle mount, i decided to try something different
Monkeyracers's panhard and upper link axle truss

Also ordered his rear 4 link truss to replace the stock 4 link mount

Still need to do a new interior though before the G6 as my 2.2 tuber stole the dingo interior

XR10 steering mod is happening as well

Traded my VP knuckles, chubs, lockouts, and steering links for a brand new Axial XR10 kit

Now to see if the XR10 lockouts fit or not or if i'll have to get another set of SCX10 lockouts

Also waiting for my brushless esc to sell so i can order some XR10 universals

Your going to love the XR steering. Finished mine over the weekend & it works great. I did wind up using zero ack- arms. If you want those vanquish ones I can bring em to you.

Jc auto design (username is monkeyracer) and he's a vendor on here. They're 3d printed in nylon.

Installed the trans and ran with my 13t crawlmaster. Low gear is amazeballs but High left a little wheel speed to be desired, so out with the brushed setup and in with a Traxxas et3s I had set aside for the yeti. Also picked up a gen 1 tekin 13.5 redline sensored brushless motor. Should be exactly what I'm wanting out of this rig. Also ordered 2 hot racing axle spools.

I did manage to destroy 2 driveshaft though on low gear. The torque is unreal! So I ordered t-maxx shafts ($17 shipped for front and rear) to see if they'll hold up. Should be here tomorrow and the motor next week.

Mudbeast hooked me up with a micro servo. Setup the end points on the gt3c and shifts like a dream

Disassbled again and flipped the skid to flip the trans as well. Pulled the brushed setup out as well as plugged in the mmp.

Stripped out the gears in the cheap-o servo as well as destroyed the bushing at the top. (was messing with endpoints and not running a servo saver)

Ordered a Hitec HS-225mg to do shifting duties. Metal gears and ball bearings

Another update.

Picked up a The Scale Shop chassis and smooth skid.
Pulled off the blue monkey cms though. Waiting for the mailman to drop off the rc4wd cms kit.

No photo updates but here's the latest.

I removed the Blue Monkey RC CMS kit and JCAD 3 link/panhard mount in favor of an RC4WD cms/panhard mount.

Reason being is i couldn't get the right setup for the panhard. I kept pulling the blue monkey panhard mount out of the axle. Upgraded to the JCAD 3d printed which worked perfectly until i did the XR steering mod. It just had too much flex with this setup.

The RC4WD setup has a solid metal axle link mount, but, the downside is i have to find a new location for the servo winch, as the blue monkey had dual servo mounts.

Also, i ordered new servo wire and connectors/pins so i'll be cleaning up my rats nest of wiring so everything should be tucked away inside the Radio Shack Project box.

Did manage to take the rig out on a trail run with the locals (No pics though) and the new frame rails, cms, and 2 speed worked flawlessly on 2s. Will be soldering deans onto 2 new 2200mah 3s batteries that just came in. Can't wait to see how it rips on 3s and how well the low gear will crawl.

Soldered up a parallel battery harness so u can run 2 of the 2200mah batteries as 1 4400mah so should up run times without having to change batteries. Also Soldered deans o to the 3s batteries that came in so she should scream now in High gear. Out of town for a week, but bright it along. Going to go by maniac hobbies tomorrow in Fort Lauderdale to see what they've got
