You can run 3s on the stock esc if you add in a castle creations BEC. I've been running mine for months with no problems.

The Dingo comes with a NiMH so i'll just run that for the time being. Thanks to a local i just picked up a Thunder AC6 charger, so now to get a BEC and some lipos And all parts have been ordered Picked up an Axial 27t, AE-2, AX3, and Traaxxas 2075 servo. Now to await it all arriving and begin building. All in at $340 for all i'll need to get it running. So a few bucks cheaper than an RTR kit, but i want to be able to BUILD my first rig (then buy rollers or RTR for future rigs) And it begins The kit, Axial 27t, AX-3 tx/rx and Thunder AC6 charger are here. Now waiting for the AE-2 and Traxxas 2075 to arrive. Also just ordered a Wraith LED setup Kit build starts tonight! Front axle built And now a pair Only problem is the hunting for parts, none of the bags are labeled correctly per the instructions Axles, suspension, motor, transfer case and trans built. Waiting for the steering servo to come in to button up the steering. Chassis next Last edited by THX_138; 07-16-2013 at 10:43 PM. |

Servo, ESC, and LED's all in and it's running. Need to clean up wiring though, ESC came without connectors, so i've just got crimped on there (as well as cut off the std connector on the battery and crimped on Deans) It's not pretty but it works. Still have to do the body. It's all trimmed, just need something to do post holes with. Painting in the rain was not wise. Paints already cracking off. So this dingo will be the basher boy. Land rover headlights will be next using the stock buckets then prob plasti dip the body. Now I just need to find some places to crawl Ordered a turnigy 5200mah 2s lipo today Also took it out to a spot I found till the cops told mr to leave Last edited by THX_138; 07-16-2013 at 10:45 PM. |

Off Walton road along side the train tracks, but the sheriff told me to leave Working on beefing it up before doing the XJ scale build Just ordered Traxxas 12mm alum hex's and an Axial aluminum servo horn Ordered from Vanquish the Stage one kit (aluminum knuckles, chubs, and lockouts) as well as the Currie tie rod and steering arm Next paycheck will be MIP axles (but for now i'm going to put the parts tree stem in the shaft) Last edited by THX_138; 07-16-2013 at 10:46 PM. |

Plasti-dipped my electronics today (now to let cure over night) So should be ready for the mud once I put some grub screws in the axles Also reinforced the driveshafts using parts from a parts tree Last edited by Richterat83; 07-13-2013 at 03:04 PM. |

Successful evening of scale wrenching Vanquish Products 8 degree knuckles, chubs and lockouts. Currie scx titanium tie rod and drag link. axial aluminum servo horn. Also removed the front battery try and relocated it to just in front of the trans horizontally and moved the receiver box and esc to opposite sides on the side skid bars And installed during initial build were the axial aluminum lower links. So chassis wise, she should take the abuse I throw at her on trails Wife said its time to slow down on purchases though lol Had already ordered the cherokee body though hehe Now to wait a few more days to start scouring the classifieds It's dark out now so pics to come tomorrow |

Thanks Forgot to add I sprayed the outside silver since the black looked awful. Also applied some of the axial interior stickers and picked up a driver from Target (one of the skate boarders) |

Met up with a few local guys for a run on the rocks My run was cut short by stripping the gears in my servo. New gears on order while I save for a hitec |

Try a Hextronic from HobbyKing, cheap, metal gear. Works great for me. HXT 10kg Servo (metal gear) 55g / 10kg / .16sec |

By tooth, do you mean the spline on the servo horn? If so not off hand no. It takes Tamiya horn nice and snug.

Just curious because I've already got an axial 25t aluminum horn, so I'd rather get a servo that fits it already
