Innertube + tow rope on top post + high speed whip in choppy water + video camera = a whole lotta win.

Ha, I don't tube at all, I like being in control of what I'm riding. I wakeboard, surf and ride the 750!

I have a Spartan that is red/black/white if that counts! Running an RX8/T8 2000 combo and it does about 42mph.

Axial SCX10
Axial Jeep JK body
Axial Poison Spider bumpers
Axial Aluminum Rear Axle Lockouts
Vanquish 8* Chubs
Vanquish 8* Knuckles
Vanquish VVDs
Vanquish Lockers
Vanquish Rigid Industries 6" LED bar
Vanquish CMS/Panhard
Vanquish 1.9 Methods
RC4WD 1.9 Dick Cepeks
Pit Bull 1.9 Rock Beasts
MIP Driveshafts
BPC Rear Axle Truss
BPC Front Axle Truss
BPC Pull Pal
3Racing faux winch
Jevne Racing Battery/Servo plate (will be modified to hold winch servo and clear the VP CMS)
Tekin RS Gen2
Tekin ROC412 3100kV
ProTek 2S 4400 30C

I like wheels and will probably use both sets on this rig just to change it up every so often. Just need to find a set of tires and get some hubs for the Methods (which are freaking sick BTW.)

Still to round up/do:

Axial Icon shocks
Beef up transmission
Wider wheel hexes
Paint/assemble body
Tons of other stuff I'm forgetting, but it'll get done eventually. LOL

More pics, progress and BS to come!

Did you use wheel widener for the Dick Cepek not to rub on your steering knuckles? What size did you use?

I haven't yet, would be nice to space it out a little bit. The wheels don't rub but the tires do just a tiny bit.

Still trying to find the airbrush, it has officially disappeared. Otherwise I'd probably already have the body done.

Alright, I found the airbrush finally! Painted the JK this weekend, finished the interior paint and started assembly/decals. I painted the interior on the outside of the shell so it has more of a flat appearance. The color is custom mixed, I think it turned out fantastic! Exactly what I was shooting for. Pics of decals and rolling chassis tomorrow! Still have lots to do and a couple more parts to track down.

I can tell getting the windshield to sit perfect is going to be a huge PITA. I'm OCD like that.

Did some work last night, trying to get the body wrapped up soon. Still need to paint the brackets to mount the Rigid Industries light bar.

I plan on running 21/87 for 2S only. I have lots of 2S packs so that's all I run.

It's a Jevne Racing, you can get them here: Crawler Parts

I'm almost thinking I need the CMS version though so I can have a servo winch also.

Looking good Ty!

I am thinking about ordering an FXR kit with a 35T motor. I have been comparing it to the stock setup (reading reviews here) and it seems like it is a legit upgrade over stock electronics.

Alright, finally got around to finishing my panhard mount. I ended up using the rear lower shock mount from the EXO and it worked beautifully!

Drilled a second hole in the frame and used the machine screws to thread into the plastic brace on the inside of the frame.

Finished product:

Please excuse my leaky dirty shocks, they are temporary. Hopefully getting ICONs soon!

Still has full flex and compression and doesn't hit the axle truss! Just barely clears. Looks like I'm on to electronics and shocks now so I can wheel it soon!
