Default My New F-250 Crew Cab Flatbed Honcho

I've posted pics before here of the Pro-Line F-250 Crew Cab I cut the box off and attached the stock Honcho back half to and it turned out well. I was super pleased to here Pro-Line had made a F-250 Honcho style cab so I went out and picked one up, but much to my disappointment it fit a stock truck but not mine, some how with the stock lower link still in place from my kit my wheel base grew. So I set out to make an other F-250 Crew Cab as the old one was getting really banged up, and here she is....

Like the color combo and the Honcho bed. Really sets it off. Looks like a beast.

Thanks I'm loving the Vanquish Light bar, can't wait to get out for a night trail run and see how well it works, I also installed the RC4WD two speed along with one of the new Tekin ROC 412 the 3100kv on 3S in 2nd gear she really hauls.....

Looks great! I have been eyeballing those light bars too. I was not sure how it would look on mine but it does look great on yours!

No I still had the stock ring and pinion so I had to still use set screws and forgot to tread lock them, just got out of the parking lot on to the sand and noticed I had only front wheel drive. I've since switched to the heavy duty ring and pinion and have a screw in pin no more problem....

The mirrors I got from RC4WD they are listed in with the parts for the Tamiya F-350 body, they are rubber replacements for the stock plastic ones they even fit the stock mirror inserts if you have them and they work great. I had a Tamiya F-350 Highlift truck and the first big roll out on the trail I lost a mirror, these ones I had one come off once and I can't the times I've rolled my truck or scraped against trees and rocks as long as you use good two way tape they stay put....

Where might someone find a honcho bed and rear cage like that? Or do you have to build them?

I used the stock Honcho back on mine as for the other truck its the hard plastic Tamiya Toyota Body or the RC4WD Trail Finder Body and a hand built cage....

Picked up some RC4WD Dick Cepek 1.9 Rims for my truck, I love the look but they are real pain to get the beads set even using RC4WD 1.9 Iroc's and I really want to run my Pit Bulls on these rims. Here's a picture with the new rims...

You will have to narrow the complete Honcho cage to fit as it is wider then the Pro-Line F-250 body for the E-Revo, I wanted to do the same at first but gave up. We just need some one to make bed sides for the new F-250 cab or get Pro-Line to make us a two piece body like they used to have for the Jeep Truck...
