Another Dingo kit
 

Hello all

I've been a long time "lurker" but I figured I might as well post because I finally have something worth sharing. The other day I picked up an SCX10 kit off of Craigslist for $200 and I finally finished it this afternoon. I've got an ugly Betty body on it right now temporarily, I plan on having a hilux/mojave cab with a flatbed when its all said and done.

Specs:
1.9 flat irons
Rc4wd dual spring shocks
3racing winch
Some LRP waterproof esc
Venom nimh battery
JR sport 6 channel plane remote/receiver

Plans:
Handbros frame mounted servo
Rcbros leaf spring kit in the rear
Rc4wd bead locks and tires
Lipo
Specktrum radio/receiver
Hilux body
Castle sidewinder SV3
Stronger servo

Before the pictures I have a quick question. Has anyone had any experience with the castle sidewinder sv3 waterproof esc? I want to run a brushed 35t motor but everything I read in the specs only addresses brushless.

I'll get some better pictures tomorrow. I'm planning on taking it for its first run somewhere other than the living room tomorrow.wish me luck "thumbsup"

Good luck with your new rig. Your photo links didn't go to a photo of your truck for me. Maybe others saw them. Welcome to the fun.

Alright today I took it on its first run and of course about 5-10 minutes in my ESC was acting up. I felt it and it was burning after extremely light trail riding. As of right now I think I'm gonna place an order for the Castle Creations SV3 Sidewinder sometime in the next 24 hours. Anyways I did get some pictures. Don't mind the ugly Betty body, just threw it on there to protect my electronics. Enjoy
