Default West Australian Dingo.

So I got a dingo kit for my birthday with intention of joining in with scale comp here in W.A. Thought I may as well post a build a thread.
So far it's fairly stock.

@rokie

I'm taking a break from SCT racing and bought an RTR Rubicon. It was a great point to start with to get into scale crawling and how to drive it, etc. before I modded up. Then being the SCX10 platform and using this forum mods have been positive and super fun.

Minor updates, was wanting a little more speed so in went a HH trailmaster 27t. Think lipo is on the near future!
Also fitted 3racing cvds and replaced the button head screws on the chubs with some counter sunk ones to get a tiny bit more steering lock.

Bolted in new aluminium front cross members to stop the flex from the original plastic ones.

Also got some aluminium knuckles and a Solar D722 steering servo as the MG966 or whatever it was, was starting to get a lot of play in straight ahead and not staying straight.

Should be enough steering for now. I just have to get myself some more solder and then it's in with the new Team Brood motor.

Finally got hold of solder and fitted up the hand wound Brood apocalypse motor. It's a whole new world of smooth precise power!

Well i've done a little more work on the dingo trying to get some better performance from it for this weekends comp.

First up I made up some brackets for the front of the rear upper links to improve the geometry.

Next up I cut up the body and bumpers to get some better approach and departure angles.

Lastly I made up a higher clearance tie rod.

Won't get a chance to try it out until the comp on Sunday, but hoping it works out.

how is the Brood motor compared to the HH motor? I have a tekin and a HH, both are super smooth, can't imagine it getting much better to be honest

The brood motor is hand wound which probably explains why it's much better. I'm comparing it to the HH sealed can 27t trailmaster sport throw away motor.

I have all the wheel speed I need, if I find I need more I can always step up to 3 cell lipo.
