I guess I should make a thread for my truck! This is my first rc truck. It all started when my middle son, 12, bought a used AX10 Scorpion a couple years ago. He's Rocky4x4 on here. Then my oldest son, 14, bought a new SCX10 Jeep in December, and my youngest, 8, bought a used Honcho a few months ago. So, I finally broke down and had to get one of my own. It was getting embarrassing asking to to drive their trucks all the time!

So, I picked up a used Honcho a few months ago. It was all stock and almost new. It also came with a hard Hummer H2 body, which I am going to fix up as a scale model of my own truck.

It has all stock electronics & drivetrain. Here is a list of what I have done to it so far:
Axial aluminum servo horn
Steel sliders I made
Steel tie rod I made
Metal links I made - 8/32" all thread & 1/4" steel brake line & Revo ends
Steel front winch bumper I made
Rc4wd Bulldog winch with remote
Steel winch hook I made
2s 5100 Lipo saddle pack mounted to top of sliders
1.9 Flat Iron tires
Axial bead lock wheels, weighted with lead wire
Painted wheels black with Plastidip spray
Scale winch anchor I made - need to change it a little

Ok, here are some pics:

You can see the winch anchor in the back

And a couple action shots

Thanks for looking! I'll post some pics later of all our trucks in our back yard play area.

Nice work with the home made stuff. I 2nd what kakachille said about your sliders. Smart of you to put the plate so you have a spot for electronics. Get a vendors star and sell them, I'd buy a set.

Thanks guys! Maybe I'll check out the star thing sometime. Don't really have time right now though! To many summer projects going on to take more on right now.

My boys just got my a Dinky interior as an- day gift. I'll post that up when I get it in.
