Trying to decide on some new shocks and wanted to get the opinions from you guys who have them. Which shock do you prefer?

Imo I would ho with the gmade piggyback shocks simple because they are a real piggyback shock the axial icon shocks have a faux resivore so the gmade have way more tuning ability but from personal experience and like u will read about everywhere DO NOT BUY HOT RACING OR INTEGY SHOCKS they are only pain in the rear end to get them to ever function like they should when if u go with a different shock u can buy it put oil in and drive just my 2 pennies

I have read people like the 103mm better than the 93mm? Any tips on that?

I have 2 sets of gmade the first are 103 airation shocks, the second set is 93 mm zeros. the 103,s are about 1/16th of a inch bigger to my surprise, not the .4 inches they should be. My zeros leak a little, my airations don't. I love both shocks performance.

I was trying to decide the same thing. Thanks for the answers to a question that wasn't even mine.

I have a set of 103mm gmade xds on the way. Will be here tomorrow. I'll let you know how I like them. I'll get them built and mounted up and post some pics.

I am using 103mm piggy's on my truck with trepadors. On the trail, it is very good. It gives me more flex over obstacles than the stock but it doesn't give me TOO much to where I look like a professional rock crawler. The shocks seem to give me a slight bump in ride height due to being taller but it doesn't cause any issues. Overall, it works for me being between 93mm and 120mm.

I scored a full set of the Icons new from a guy with a kit for $30 so I will try these out. Thinking I will grab a set of Gmade 103's as well to see the difference.

Just got the xd's all built and mounted up. Didn't really seem to gain much travel over the stockers but they are a lot smoother and more adjustable. Would gain more flex without the bumpstops but I think they offer enough with them. Can they be taken out without risking damage to the shock? Well here's a few pics.
