Default 2.2 Super Swampers on the way..a Q

I have been watching the vids of these tires on SCX10 Honchos and I want. So they are in the post....

I have got some 5mm extenders to widen it a little and a lift kit to.

What's the best approach here? I don't mind a little trimming but want to retain the look as best as possible. I'm also wary of lifting it to high and ruining the COG. I have also got some wheel weight to help keep it planted if possible.

It ran great on my heavy 1.9 Flat Irons and Mayhem Rims but I tried some 2.2's and the clearance just made it a beast for get over things I was getting grounded on with the smaller tires...

I would stay away from the lift kit if you can, like you said... it'll raise the cog.

Thanks guys. It can also be used for lowering but I doubt I'll do that...ha. I'll mount em side ways though to allow me more shock options. I know the Swampers are really big but I love the look....I think I'll eventually head down the Wroncho route you see but I want to do it slowly and try as many configurations as I can.
