Scx10 Chevy Silverado Build
 

Decided to build a custom Scx10. Chassis started out as a honcho, changed the stock transmission to a wraith transmission with Robertson Racing gears and a dig. Changed shocks to wraith style shocks. Changed rear and front ends to Venom crawler style axles/Knuckles and Chubs. Upgraded CVD's in both front and rear. Mounted a Chevy Silverado body on it tonight. Also have a set of 1.9 Dick Cepek Torque rims on the way. Has stock ESC and Motor but looking to upgrade.. Any suggestions??? Thanks

Looks awesome nice job! As for motor and esc I like to run the fxr with 35t motor. It gives you good wheel speed and torque.

Looks great mobsteel, I am a big fan of the lexan bodies...I know a lot of people like the hard bodies, but the lexan bodies I can change out easily and cheap for a whole new look

I would fill in the wheel wells with either some sheet metal or styrene. It gives it a more realistic look and it keeps the mud and dirt out too..that just my 6 cents...

Oh and I forgot to say, it does still look really good.."thumbsup"

any suggestions on LED's? might add a Vanquish light bar across the roof.. but not sure about LED's for headlights and tail lights.. Thanks

Dude LEDs are the way to go, I have a light bar on one of my rigs and man you can see all at night,it's awesome..
I also just installed LEDs on my Sammy too. Just front and rear lights and that works well at night too..

You have head lights and tail lights to? Thinking of maybe a HeyOk light controller

Yup headlights and taillights too..all my rigs have some sort of lighting setup... You never know when you'll need em..

Where did you find the rims they look good.

They are Dick Cepek Torque 1.9.. i bought them in the classified section on here but youcan find them one rc4wd.com
