79 Ford Ext. Cab link length

Iv been pondering the hpi 79 Ford Ext. Cab body for quite some time now. Just curious if someone could tell me a link length? Iv searched and found the wheel base is 14" just curious to see if anyone measured or can measure their links. Thanks!

Trial and error works....u will also need longer drive shafts

Yes it does work I was just looking for a measurement instead of wasting time and money. I Have shafts already

If you can fine one in your local hobby shop they may help you out to see what length links you will need before purchase.

I'm currently building one, but I did a custom frame instead of trying to make an scx work. The wheelbase for the body is actually 141/4".

i bobbed the bed to fit the stock sxc10 wheel base it was easy just cut the bed off and slide it inside the body
