scx10 rubicon rtr wheelbase reduction
 

Hi

I have a rtr rubicon with a wheelbase of 12.3.
front lower links 120 mm
rear lower links 130 mm
Ive been using a HPI land rover body shell which has a wheel base of 11.5 so my truck looks a bit weird... now I want a dingo body shell which has the same wheel base. So... I need to change my wheel base... ! ! !

Ive got access to some lower links ... if they will do the trick !!!
fronts 91 mm
rears 100mm

Will this work ? Do I need to buy new upper links too ? If so what size upper links do I need so the dingo body and my hpi land rover shells fit better ?

Yes you will need new upper links (link above includes upper and lower)

If you bought the RTR new you may already have the other links in the extra parts bag, mine did.

If you are going to be buying links, check the links from R2J. They are lot more durable than the aluminum links in the link set.
