| HH torquemaster 27T motor speed?
What kind of average speed would I get on 2s or 3s with a HH 27T motor? Around 5-7mph?

It is going to depend on your gearing and the size of your tires. If you use 16/87 gearing with the 1.9 Ripsaw tires which are 4.3 inches diameter your speed at 2s would be 4.8 Mph and at 3s would be 7.2 Mph. If you are wanting speed more than crawling you should look at a brushless setup. At 3s and at mostly top speed the brushes won't last very long. Here is the link to the speed calculator I use. R/C Calculations Use the AX-10 values for diff and transmission ratios they are the same as the SCX10 and Wraith. I used the speed information from the HH site for the torque master. The 27t torque Master Pro is 2100kv Last edited by k7zpj; 08-11-2013 at 05:38 PM. |
