Default Axle distance measurment

Hey guys I am doing a custom build but I'm using scx10 guts. I don't have the trans or drive shafts yet just the suspension. Can anyone tell me the distance between the axles from axle to axle? Thanks again guys.

Also, if anyone has a trans and drive shafts for the scx10 or wealth lmk I'm looking for a cheap (stock) trans and drive shafts or just trans.

you mean the wheelbase? depends on which body you're putting on the rig, and whether or not it's just the cab/flatbed in which case the rear can be placed wherever you want. anywhere from 10-18" is what i've seen on custom SCX10 builds.

the only real limit is with a super short wheelbase under 11" since you still have to have good driveshaft working angles (but even then you can clock the axles and c-hubs to help it out).

Dingo wb os 11.3" and honcho/jeep jk is 12.4". That said any wb is possible.depends on the body. For driveshafts pick up some Mips, they will be the last ones you need to buy again. I have used traxxas yokes and shafts, but fot $15 -$20 more you can have the mips.

Even my Slash 4x4 has MIPs. Just get them. Never worry about drive-shafts again.

Let the distance be determined by the body being used. Build the wheelbase to look correct under the body.

Wheel base is considered the width from what I thought. But I get what you guys are saying. I just wanted to see how extendable the standard drive shafts are. I should have a sXC10 locked tranny coming my way soo. I just didnt want to mess up the axle distances.
