Default things i have made for my scx10. my mod thread post build.

So I decided to rename this thread because I can't stop making parts for my Jeep
So I didn't like plate design of my other mount I think it was Level3, no offense, but I was getting a lot of binding. So I figured if it was mounted at an angle it would get better flex and less binding.

So I made this.

It is 1/8th inch thick by 1/4inch wide. Soldered to a strap bolted to the bumper mount.
This is the under side best I could get.

Tested it in the back yard and so far so good. I will take it out the next chance I get and take a close up off the truck. thanks for looking. now to make a battery mount to go over it.

That's a great mod dude. Question, can you still use the front mounted battery tray?

That was my next plan. I'm going to make a mount that bolts to the frame. I'll post pictures when I get it done.

@tomanyprojects thank you.

what style of suspension do you run up front? I don't see a panhard in the pics.

So I got a few better angles on it and also started on making a mount to go over it for the battery mount it will clear the servo by almost 1/4 inch.

I also put stock shocks back on so I can use the droop kit on my wroncho. They flex a lot better thank the hr shocks.

Clears the r2dd linkage by a hair but it works.

I think with a standard servo it won't work but with a micro it would. I left my truck at the shop for the weekend but let me measure it.

Looking at where the shock mounts are in relationship to where the Stevie is on mine, just at more of an angle it would clear.

There is two one on Both sides. And no it's pretty solid. I think I might tire it in to the battery mount

Ok so I finally got a chance to look and there is plenty of room doing it this way.

You would have to change your front bumper mount or modify it. but a front battery mount is out of the question for you.

So I made this today...not a servo mount but I like the way it turned out.

I think I might have to re name this post soon cuz I don't think I can stop making stuff.

Better view of the under side of the frame for the rear bumper.

Suspension droop mod works great.
