I'm looking at getting a 2 speed trans for my scx10. Rc4wd has a 2 speed specific for the scx10, as well as they have a R2 2 speed trans. So my question becomes of this.....Which 2 speed trans is better? Please let me know thanks!

I picked up the rc4wd ax2 for the my Jeep kit and have loved it for crawling and some more faster trail runs. I don't run stupid power, only 2s and a 35t brushed motor but still very happy with it and no issues.

Thanks guys! I was leaning towards that trans, but my only other concern is clearance fro shifting servo to a 2s lipo pack.

| You can always mirror the trans and flip the skid plate around so the servo would be towards the rear. Better performance that way any way. Less torque twist.

I personally wouldn't bother ... Had the rc4wd AX2 one for 6 months and the problems were endless .... Jack. |

Alright guys....I'm going to order a 2speed trans here very soon. I need to know for sure which trans is better. I have read that the AX2 trans has issues with weak outdrives where driveshafts connect. I plan on ordering today or tomorrow so a general consensus would be great! So far I have mixed reviews on the AX2.
