PSA: Level 3 rc cms and panhard bar

Just getting the word out.

The level 3 rc CMS and panhard bar found on eBay and level3rc.com DOES NOT work with the factory 4 link truss.

Just trying to save everyone 20 bucks!

I wouldn't buy Level 3 anything. Their aluminum is low grade and WAYYY too soft. The CMS/Panhard kit has the wrong geometry anyway.

BTW, It isn't recommended for you to use a 4 link with panhard anyway. Remove one of your upper links when installing the kit.

That's one thing they do not disclose on their website.

Is there a CMS and Panhard that you could recommend?

Just installed the GCM one. Very well made. You have to drill one hole in your frame and make your own link.

Does that one work with the axial 4 link truss?

I don't know as I bought the CGM 4 link mount as well. I'll try to find the Axial one tonite and see if it would present any problems.

The CGM one is nice because it has a machine hole in the side for the front link, instead of having the link on top of the pumpkin. I completely cut off the top link mount tab.

If you can find them, get a Hand Bros CMS Panhard kit or Vanquish CMS with DMG truss. Just search and you'll find many different companies that make CMS panhard parts.

On a lighter note, they gave me my money back and I got to keep the kit.

Sold it to a buddy of mine!

the Level3 CMS and panhard kits is ok but does need some work to get it working well. I have it and it works great but I had work on it alittle bit. course my truck has a lift kit on it to.

everyone I know that has gotten hated it at first but once the worked around with it and made there own changed, they love it. don't just shoot it down.
