Default Which steel drive shafts?

Hello.

I need some drive shafts. I was looking at the Punishers and see there are three revisions. Are the originals no good? Obviously these are the cheaper of the three. :-) I can also see the MIP shafts. Now I have used MIPs on my fast truck and they are great but the flared ends look like a catching point?

I also see the Junfac Carbon Steel?

Any input greatly appreciated.

Kind regards.

go for the MIP,s , great shafts that hold up well. my oldest pair is 3+ yrs and never had a problem. also no clearance issues at all.

Im a huge fan of mip got um on ax10. .wraith .and race cars ..but when I went to tcs he didnt have in stock
And Kevin said try these junfac s on your dingo I was hesitant cause I wanted keep everything mip ..parts wise ..
But the junfac are smaller in diameter. flat sided with half moon shaft.. verse splined shaft they also have a keeper ring so you dont loose your cvd pin ..so far so good only have about 10 trail hrs on them ...also the price is alot cheaper ..good luck

Thanks folks. The good reviews and cheaper prices pushed me the JunFac route. :-)

Don't be too hasty. Take a look at the **** drive shafts. I used them on my Wraith build and they were great, Cheap too. I do have the Junfac on both of my Scx10's and they have been good too.

Good luck. When you break a part on one of the ckrc shafts and they won't sell you replacement parts they won't seem like a very good deal anymore.

mip!!! only because if u want to upgrade to 6 or 8mm output shafts you can keep same shafts and just order 6 or 8mm mip ends!!! & of course upgrade pins with traxxas pins & no more worries. Other than that mip,junfac,rc4wd,etc...

MIPS!!!! For 40$ or 100$ a set.. MIPS!!!!

Have em on mrc's, creeper, ax, scx, wraith. Spares just waiting to go on whatever's next..

I got a set of junkFac shafts with a wraith I picked up(which were like new when I got them) and the pin thru slot on the CVD ball end is ruined, the hub the pin thru is in is loose an wobbly, the actual shaft end the pin goes into is all blown out of shape.. the Only reason they haven't come off yet, even after falling apart cause they are so miss shapen now, is cause they are on my 8yr olds wraith and its best not to spoil him till the 13.5t redline blows the JunkFac shafts to pieces! Then he too will share in the MIP love!

And I didn't read the whole description and ordered the NON Rubicon shafts. GREAT! Oh well, scale parts to put in for extra points.

Going to order the AX10 kit now with the Traxxas Pins. I haven't ever had any issues out of the MIP parts on any of my vehicles.
