Transmission- Scx10

Links- 313mm Tr link set- Ordered 9/2 Power Hobby Ebay. (Also plan to buy individual links and anodized rod ends from rc4wd so I can change up the wheel base and pinion angles)

Steering- Rc4wd steering links for Trex 60 axle- Ordered 8/28 rpphobby.com. received 8/31

Wheels- Axial 1.9 beadlocks satin chrome/ Gearhead ring no.8 (star)- Ordered 9/2 Rpphobby Ebay

The front axle has a paint chip on the diff cover from shipping. I would send it back but it is a small chip and will be a big hassle. Also it looks like just bad packaging and might be a problem with a lot of them.

Dont forget to fab up the bike carrier...noticed the tiny twenty-incher hangin out there by the ashtray. For the tubing, I'd go with aluminum for weight savings but i also like the brass for the times when you just gotta test the integrity of your rig.

Haha yeah that would be a good idea. I'm not sure which direction I am going with body. The wb is about 12.5 in. and I really like how they perform with a 12 in. wb but I can't see any way to make the body I have look right. I would rather change that than go with a shorter wb. I can have this done pretty quick as I have been putting in extra hours at work and just got a raise but I want to get 33s for my truck so this might be at a stand still for a month at most.

Blurry pics, low light and to lazy to break out the tripod-

Thanks. I am noticing some problems as I look it over. The servo is a little to far forward to allow me to mount the battery up front so tomorrow I will either put shorter links or try to drill new holes to remount it.

Well remounted the servo as far back as it can go but I still need about 1/8-1/4 inch of clearance for the servo to clear the battery. I may just put the battery in the back but I already know how much I hate that configuration. I really don't want to swap the links but i think that may be the best plan.

Where the wrench is hanging is about the balance point I would like to get it center or just a little to the front-

As you can see, servo is way far forward. Running honcho links but with these axles it puts me at 12 7/8 wb-

The Sami body, have it cut out for the battery. Going to cage the rest-

Wishing I would have got shorter links to make it all fit better but I prefer a longer wheel base

Made a Battery support to allow me to run it up front. Not the prettiest but it works perfectly.-

I love those axles!! Are they the same width as the stock axles?

No I think they are a little bit skinnier.

So I have decided to scrap the Sami body, it is just too small. Right now I am pretty sure I am going with the g6 body. Alot of people have that and the ps rubicon but it is a really nice body.
