| Lights for SCX10
What is the easiest way to wire up a light bar and rock lights for a scx10? I was thinking about just wiring them all up into a deans plug and running them directly off a smaller 3s lipo. 450mah or so. is that even possible? everyone's opinion is welcome. I am new to lights on rc's. Last edited by PSSUPERSTORE; 09-03-2013 at 08:09 PM. |

I have not done this yet.. but i would add a alarm for the lipo as you would need a cutoff.. but id get some LED from ebay and wire them in to its own lipo... on a switch.... |

This lights hook up to your servo plug and esc plug.... So you can get blinkers, reverse lights, and more.... Buy the kit it so much easier... And also you run off battery power... http://www.ebay.com/itm/RC-Car-truck...-/180975698414 Last edited by SmokeScx10; 09-03-2013 at 08:21 PM. Reason: FORGOT THE LINK LOL |

not really looking for the brake lights and all the stuff.. mostly just want to hook up rock lights and light bar up top and one on the front bumper. and a alarm is a good idea. didn't think about that Last edited by PSSUPERSTORE; 09-03-2013 at 09:21 PM. |

I ordered my light kit from www.rclighthouse.com. You can make your own kit and I just used the axial light buckets for the mounts. The way he bundles all the wires makes it simple to add a light bar. I chose to use my speed control aux to power the lights |

Use two of the old GT Power light controllers on my truck, I have the 2 5mm white led in the Pro-Line front bumper, 4 5mm white led for headlights, 4 3mm amber led for turn signals, 2 5mm red led for tail lights, and 2 3mm white led for plate light at the back plus a Vanquish 4" light bar. I run a 3S lipo with two sets of wires off the plug, one set straight to a Castle Creations BEC set to 6 volts for the two led controllers no signal from the receiver so all led are at 100% all the time, and the other wire straight to the Vanquish 4" light bar no alarm on mine yet but I should I run a 1300 mAh 3S for power and have have no lipo issues on any runs the longest one being about 5.5 hours. |

HeyOK makes a remote switch for switching LEDs using a channel on your radio. Remote Switch For LED Lighting Here is the link to all of his products in case you need more than just turning the light bar on and off. HeyOK's RC Electronics items (all in one place) |
