Yes, I've tried stock Axial Wraith shocks on my Dingo chassis. It lifted the truck too much for my liking so I removed them. I ended up with some Junfac 95mm shocks, it was the happy medium.

I have Wraith shocks going on my scx frame too. For 13 bucks for 4 new shocks (eBay) couldn't hardly beat the price.
I will limit them internally with a plastic spacer to minimize the drive-shaft angle and ride height closer to the stock honcho.

What's the main advantage to going to these shocks? Increased articulation?

For me, I wanted to run them really soft and have it all compress under the weight of the truck so it would return back to near stock height. My theory is that I would then get more down travel out of the new shocks/springs and keep the wheels on the ground for longer.

That and they were available for the right price.........

Way too long a shock for this truck, just buy the proper length shocks.

Many RTI queens do not do very well off road, but they produce impressive RTI scores.

This is the look im shooting for but ill build it around 103mm shocks....so Wraith shocks shouldnt be a problem unless they leak or big bores limit steering.

What are you trying to accomplish? They are much bigger than stock shocks in every way imaginable and just don't fit very well. I like the stock shocks, without oil. The suspension is very lively and life like when going over rough terrain. They are also the perfect length (WITH rubber spacers) for the Dingo IMO.

If this is directed at me..... I have a complete frame, axles off a ax10, cab and tires....not a SCX10 kit or RTR. When looking at shocks on ebay the tag line said "Wraith,Rubicon,SCX10,Dingo,Honcho.... just assumed i had a 4 out of 5 chance it would fit..NOT. I could make them work, but looking at all options: Wraith, LOSI Comp, TLT1
