Back and fourth movement? I'd guess your truck is 3 linked, yes? If so look at where the link attaches to your axle and there your problem. Just add some washers to stop the unwanted movement. Stock steering sucks, vp high steering knuckles and a custom steering links will do wanders as well as a long enough servo horn. The longer servo horn will give you a few extra degrees of steering. This is what I've done and my steering is crazy good. Oh almost forgot, all the steering improvements won't do swat if you don't upgrade the cvd's to universals because the stock dogbones don't like to turn at tight angles. I got the rc4wd ones and they're great Last edited by Demodude; 09-07-2013 at 09:20 PM. |

What's the EPA settings on your radio for the servo? Also looks like you have stock knuckles. If you get high clearance ones that'll help a lot. When you say axles move, does that mean left to right? Sent from tinker room pro |

Just from the pic I see that you should try and run your drag link to the furthest knuckle from the servo horn. Maybe try a longer servo horn as well and do you have your end points set up on your radio? What knuckles are you running?

I forgot, another trick is to run the link from your servo instead of stock to the short side but instead to the other side making the link longer (you have to make one). In other words, run the link across the midline of the truck (from servo to the right side ) This Improves steering by another few degrees |
