Gonna try attaching one magnet to the body and one to the carrier. Hopefully this works better than the single magnet did. If this doesnt work i'll hard mount the carrier to the body,

Rampage Recovery Rear Bumper with Swing Away Tire Carrier This would be a better alternative for the people wanting a tire carrier without the problem of find a way for the axial jeep bumper to work with a non-jeep body.

Here's what I did ...

I was looking at the photo you posted. My first impression was that the body was forcing the bumper/tire away from the body. How much clearance is there from the lower body to the bumper?

Approx 3-5 mm horizontally and vertically.

it's hard to solve if one is just looking at a photo, so thismay not make sense from your prospective.

Is it possible to clock the mount or bumper back towards the bumper?

Is it possible to use a post and body clip? I was thinking of a post though the body and the bumper bracket.

I drilled out the plastic piece, where the pin on the rear cage attaches to the bumper, cause it was pain in ass to line up pin hole, check out my pics, I like how it looks mounted where it is. and I cut the mounts for tire carrier off too make the bumper look cleaner too me and going to sand and fill in the holes. and I drilled new holes in the body posts, opposite of the stock hole, so I can put the pins thru the side without removing the tire to take body off. you can see the body pins in the last pic.
