Default question on servo arm??

I still have the servo from Axial in my JK and was wondering if I could use a longer servo arm and if so which one would be best?

Thank you

yes, you can. which one depends on the servo you're using to determine which to buy. many have 2 holes on the arm to choose short or long throw. if you're still running the stock axial servo, then i wouldn't bother with the extra length as the extra leverage will likely burn it up faster, but a metal horn will still be a smart upgrade.

what is your desired outcome with the longer servo horn?

Are you trying to get more steering throw? If so, I would only advise doing that if you have upgraded the universals, chubs and knuckles.

Have you done universals? If you're still running the bone/cup setup, more throw is going to bind them like crazy and it will crow hop pretty bad.

unless you got high clearance knuckles I'm not sure universals will help. I've got alum knuckles that came in my bucket o parts and its the knuckles hitting the axle that limit my steering. currently looking into upgrading to some 8 degree VP knuckles and chubs. just trying to figure out the neede linkage first, and maybe a CMS kit since I will be replacing the link anyways.
