| How much travel is lost with proline powerstroke scaler shocks
I have been looking for new shocks and so far I really like the proline power strokes but have red that u lose travel so I was wondering how much from stock. Or if anyone had pic of them mounted flexing or mounted would be awesome. I'm running a honcho right now with the icon shocks from the wrangler unlimited

They are good shocks but you definately lose some articulation Of Memory ( but don,t quote me on this ) they are the same as the standard Axial Shocks with the rubber bump stops still installed. I run them on the front of my Honcho with the aluminium Axial SCX shocks on the rear and really like this set up , However mine is 4 link front and rear and i,ve never run them as 3 link |

I went through this a few months back when I was looking for shocks. Here are some pics, my jeep has Losi 4" shocks and my honcho has prolines Losi Proline I get better downward travel from the Losi ones and they were on sale a few weeks ago at RPP for $19.99 |

These, I believe they are stock shocks from the Losi Comp Crawler These are on evilbay right now & not much more than I paid for a set used. The rod ends are sae not metric so your 3mm wont fit unless you swap em out for traxxas or other metrics If you can afford the prolines I would go that way. | Re: How much travel is lost with proline powerstroke scaler shocks You are going to get more travel from a 4 inch shock vs a 3.5 inch shock. Comparing my 3.5 axial shocks to my 3.5 proline shocks I don't lose enough travel to tell on the trail but putting them side by side it looks like about 2-3 mm less travel.

The Proline shock bodies are the same length as the SCX shocks plus the rubber up travel limiter. If I remember correctly.
