Default Ty's SCX10 Bronco

All stock aside from Spektrum and FXR. Little weight in the tires and 20wt shock oil all around. The WB is a little long for the Bronco, once I get the new JK 4 door body it will be going on this rig for the wife since it is the TR and she probably won't be able to break any links. Then the Bronco will go on my other SCX Kit with a slightly shorter WB.

Thanks! Just wanted to keep this one simple for going out and bashing. It's fun with the 27T motor, has enough speed to jump berms and be fun on more than just rocks. Can't wait to start in on the 4D JK!

Been driving the Broncho (Bronco Honcho ) a LOT and I felt it needed more scale attitude. I saw my old scout CGR sitting on my shelf looking rather sad, so I spliced the Bronco and CGR bodies together and came out with this:

I cut the interior/bed off the Scout and shoved it up in the Bronco. It's a little narrow, but you can't really tell. It's attached via the roof rack and rear bumper. Roof rack bolts through the Bronco roof into the CGR cage below and the rear bumper bolts through the Bronco to the CGR rear bumper underneath, which has been trimmed to fit as needed. I will cut the windows in the Bronco to access the switches for the ON/OFF and all lights that will be hooked up soon. I'm just waiting on my undertray to come in and this baby will be pretty much complete!

And we gotta have those poser shots...

Future plans are; LEDs LEDs LEDs, undertray, bash.

Truck is now powered by our new ROC 412 crawler motor. This one is 2500kV (still a prototype, please excuse the upside down etching )

I'll say, I'm going to need stronger upper link mounts, output shafts, transmission gears and driveshafts with this motor. I've already been through three outputs in the transmission and 2 stock driveshafts. That's WITH the slipper and me being somewhat careful! This motor packs a punch!

Added tail lights and rear running lights this after noon. I've got two more for the headlights, for a grand total of 10 LEDs on the Broncho with the stock Axial lights.

Right one is a little high, going to move it down just a tad.

Headlights are in, lights on this rig are finished!

Up next is a metal roof rack, might start in on that tonight if I feel adventurous enough!

Nice looking Broncho. I like how the CGR cage/interior fits in the Bronco shell. Looks much better this way! Good job!

Thanks Digger! I like the look too, I didn't like it looking so ordinary.

Started on the roof rack last night, no pics yet, but it's going to be better than the PL one.

Finally some updates on this rig, Axialfest is pressuring me into getting this thing ready! Since the last light update on this thread, I have done the ProLine undertray trimmed to fit, Axial aluminum driveshaft collars, Axial aluminum tie-rod and draglink, RRP HD transmission outputs, ECX (Horizon) aluminum big bore shocks, Hand Bros CMS bracket (don't have the parts to do the panhard setup yet) and last night installed my MadDogRC upgraded 3Racing winch. Big thanks to Erik at MadDogRC for the kits, the hook is awesome and the line is really nice! Anyways, on to the pics!

Temporary fairlead setup, I don't like it being able to snag objects.

Yep, she's been around! I left the links all RTR, they are very forgiving and I have never broke one, plus I don't have to worry about family breaking it haha. I think with the fairlead I'm going to notch the skid plate out and mount it back on the winch, I've seen it done a lot on here. I just threw it on last night so I could go play lol.
