Default steering angles?

I got some high clearance axial knuckles for my scx-10. with them mounted with the links in the front like I'm used to. when turning the inside tire just misses the shock spring so its maxed out, but the outside tire turns at a much sharper angle. when not turning both face forward.

just looks abit odd, it seams like it will help as the outside tire will push the inside into the turn more? is this right? is it good? did I do something wrong? lol

you got regular knuckles, not zero ackerman, that's what is causing this. Unfortunately, when designed, they did it backwards lol

The inside tire should turn tighter then the outside to be correct, but this isn't something you did. Its a design flaw. You can add some toe out to help fight it alittle.

Or switch to zero ack knuckles if you can find some.

will it hurt? the outside wheel turning less then the inside wheel seams to me that it would put less effort into making the turn? wont the outside wheel pushing the inside tire into the turn make sharper turns? or does it not work that way?

will be trying it out this weekend on a trail run.

it doesn't hurt anything, but it doesn't help you turn tighter as the wheels fight each other.
