Default Will 1/8 scale brushless fit in Rubicon?

Does anyone know if an 8th scale brushless motor will fit in an scx10 Rubicon? Without me having to be a machinist to make motor mounts?

you might as well throw in a summit transmission because it'd be cheaper than building a bomb proof axial transmission that fits a 1/8 scale motor

Ever heard the terms gofast and foff? Not every SCX10 is built to be scale.

I run a 120a esc with a 4000k 4-pole on 3s and adding a 2 speed tranny this weekend to go even faster. I do break stock stuff with the power, but not a lot and upgrades hold up fine to it.

To OP, you won't have to be a machinist but you will have to do some problem solving for the additional space required. Pick you motor, get the specs, do some measurements and so some research before you buy.

Because I want to run a waterproof sensored brushless setup, plus this is a mudbogger build so I need POWER to sling Big tires through nasty stuff.

I put 4mm washer/shim between transmission and skidplate:

The bigest pinion fit with stock spur gear it's 23T48P.

The LRP Dynamic8 have a beveled side. it's more easy to fit
