|  Honcho kit black rims ????
Just got a used honcho kit im the 3rd owner .2nd owner said the rims are original with the truck even the spares is black ..my ??? Is I thought they only came with chrome finish from factory 2 of my friends have same rig ...weird ?? Last edited by azwheelman; 10-09-2013 at 01:08 PM. |

My honcho RTR came with the chrome "fake " bead locks..The kit I think does use the all black wheels...you get aluminum links and other goodies though the RTR doesn't get..just a cost trade off..Get some silver paint and paint them or just get the wheels you want.

These are beadlocks just like my friends just black I like the color but have not seen another come from factory this way Im just wonder if anybody trucks came from the factory this way ..even my dingo came with the chrome |

possibly they've been painted ? or were changed out ? RTR's came with the fake black bead lock wheels. The Honcho 90016 kit had the chrome BL wheels. fluke from the factory maybe ?.. tho' I can't believe that could happen. |

Not painted ... thats what im thinking maybe a fluke ?? I asked if they were swaped out he said no .. But anything is possible ...the perfect spare is what gets me. |

it looks like the 1st owner swapped them out to me and never told the 2nd owner he done it. you can buy the black wheels form axial as my mate got a set awhile ago

Well im gona go with if nobody ever got black rims insted of the chrome from the original kit they must have been swapped out early on Thanks guys for the info !! |
