Default Scx10 HELP

I have a scx10. I'm new to the crawling world and need a little help ASAP. I'm looking to buy some cheap beadlock wheels. I'm looking at some for like 15$ for a 1.9. I need to know or if someone could put me in the right place dose the screws and all the hardware come with them? I've looked at the put it says you need the backside bead lock or something. Anyone know a good site can't spend alot of money on wheels. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Browner93 I hate to be the bearer of bad news but the odds of finding a 1.9 legitimate beadlock wheels even used for $15 is almost an unrealistic request. Now if you want an imitation beadlock (require glueing tires) I would say look at the Axial site their rims are around the price you are looking at. Otherwise you can keep a good lookout on the for sale items and possibly ebay. Or save up and get your own set for somewhere in the neighborhood of $100. Good Luck!

I have the Axial bead locks (blk)
also bought into their wheel weight system (wheel ring/weights)

All I can say is it wasn't a cheap deal by any means

But I do like them... and they have been a durable wheel.

Yes, the axial BL are great value and well supported with aftermarket BL ring's as well as scale hardware.

a $15 set of new beadlocks is pretty much unheard of - perhaps $15+/ea is more realistic.

you can most likely find a set of used beadlocks in the $15 range here in the RCC Classifieds, CraigsList, or on eBay if you keep your eye out and jump on them quick. Many times you'll even get them with a set of tires for like $20-40 - ultimately this would be the best deal out there if you can find it. many aftermarket supporters for axial beadlocks - like rings. also people modify them to fit their needs, like adding VP hubs for example.

In the case of wheels and tires , good is more than $15.

If search this forum for wheels and look at some of the SCX10 build threads you will get a good idea of what is out there.

My favorite wheels come from Motoworx Racing. Nice looking wheels but the price is a good deal for aluminum wheels.

This is the closest you will come to beadlocks for the price you ask. I run these on mine and I actually bought them for $15 a set when RPP was doing a FB sale on almost anything we asked for (they do this a lot).

$17.29: Axial 1.9 8 Hole Beadlocks - Black (2pcs)

Yesterday, they offered me 10 percent off a Vanquish CMS and panhard kit. they were doing a Facebook sale yesterday for 1 hour. They even knocked off $30 off a Tekin RS esc for someone!

Not only do they come with all the hardware but they usually add a few extra in there just incase. And like most others you can choose different wheel and ring configurations.

I second Mayhem Engineering. I just got a set of their "7's" and they are nice wheels! They take a little while from the time you order until you actually receive them, but they are well worth the wait.

I use mayhems and motoworx racing wheels. Least expensive you'll get is a set of maximizer beadlocks or gmade plast wheels. All around $20-$30 a a set

I have had both the Jv shop rims and the maximize rims they are complete garbage, they are made to be put together once if your lucky, they strip screws, in the cheap plastic, a pain in the ass, I finally gave in and bought these, Rc4wd Pro ten's and I won a set of the super shafty dog dishes on here, I also got a set Axial 8 hole beadlocks, that came with my scx10 kit and they were never put together, so I mounted them once and only once, cause the plastic strips out. the first ones are RC4WD Pro 10's, the second ones are the Super Shafty Dog Dishes, and the last one are Axial 8 Holes, so save your money and buy some quality rims, instead of cheap ones, that your going to have to replace soon or as you put them together.

Good to know about the quality of or certain beadlocks. This isn't a cheap hobby really. But $5 can make all the world of difference sometimes!
