Thanks! They look a little rough, but I think hiding up in a fender well they will look fine. I might try another set with a tubing bender rather than by hand.

I like the exhaust! I'm actually planning on building an exhaust for a friend to run winch line through, and was thinking about Doing a 4-2-1 exhaust setup.

That would be a good way of routing winch line. I should have thought about soldering them up! Maybe next run when I get my bending skills more tuned. You'll have to let me know when you get yours done.

I switched to an scx because the wraith became to capable and would go anywhere and everywhere without much effort. That and I like the scaleness of the scx10's and the challenge level of driving a smaller truck will be more fun.

Here is a pic of my wraith

I had a chance to put some lights on the scx this weekend, they turned out good I think. I used the buckets as a template and a router and sanding bit on my dremel. It wasn't to bad. I used a hot glue gun to fasten the headlights in and the inner lights with the bulb holder screw. I also did this to the tail lights. So far so good. I think I might need better glue to hold the headlights in if a rock decides to poke them.

And the flex shot haha

Oh ok anything better about running the axial light controller? Or would running it off a stand alone battery pack do the same thing?

I imagine it would be the same, with the exception of the extra weight of a battery. This just plugs into the receiver and runs off it.

So I got a brazing torch kit last week so I went to work on a new front bumper. It was my first time brazing, and I think it went well. I bought some brass plate and tubing and tubing bender springs from my LHS and then to Harbor Freight for the cheapy $6 tubing bender (which worked really well in conjunction with the springs) and away I went. I am wanting to do the next G6 that is close by, so I needed it to be winch friendly. I picked up the RC4WD Bulldog wireless keyfob winch today from my LHS. This thing is awesome! Anyway. I still need to make some mounts for the shackles I made out of 1/4" cotter pins and M3 hardwear. But here are some pics (paint is on the way)

I'm also working on a drop bed for the c10 body. Its all cut out and ready to be glued back together. Just need to decide if I want to lay the shocks down or have them and the towers poke up into the bed. I'll post pics when it's done! I'm excited to put scale crap back there!!

I finished up my drop bed!
So I used a lime green plastic container from the dollar tree, I would say its a pretty good fit. A little dremel action on the bed and container, I reduced the depth to 2.5 inches, sanded it, primed, and sprayed it black with a flat clear protective coat. I used shoe goo to fasten it to the underside of the bed rails. I used servo mounts and the stock body post the screwed them to a existing hole in the frame and tada! Oh I also trimmed out holes for the towers and shocks. (I didn't want to relocate the shocks)

I tested out my bumper and winch today, worked great! Made a couple mods to it cuz the tires would rub at full lock and articulated. The only thing I was missing was a pull pal! So bam I made one!
