Default Drive Shaft Rubbing 3-Link

Hey guys,
got my SCX10 Rubicon RTR today. Nice Rig but after my first run I saw the drive shaft is rubbing the 3-Link suspenion in the front.

So what should I do about it?

I read somewhere else I could install 4-Link in the front too?

Thanks for advice!

Im running the rtr as well but don't seem to have the rubbing issue you are having...therefore I cant comment on a fix but yes you can convert to a 4 link if you wanted.

In the parts bag you get you will find a truss that looks like the one on the rear your links attach to on the rear axle...you use that to make your conversion..There are also
the correct size links in the bag as well for the conversion..Not sure about hardware like nuts and bolts but the parts are there for the conversion.

All the rigs I've seen and had do rub a little on the Y link. I have upgraded to an aluminum 4 link and it has corrected my issues. Tho i dont think it really causes any major issue but I never liked how the original Y link connected to the diff anyways .

If you want to keep the 3 link, adjust the pinion angle down by shortening the spacer in the link on the side that is connected to the axle.

So to which lenth in mm should I shorten the spacer?

EDIT: just removed the spacer (AX80054) completely but not much of a difference.

I'll probably switch to the 4-link sooner or later. So what is the difference in handling with 4-link to 3-link?

Thanks!

I would just take off a little at a time till your driveshaft doesn't rub anymore..Try 1 or 2mm increments
