| gmade G transition half droop
Hey, I have searched for a while, forgive me if I didn't search enough but could somebody tell me how to set up the Gmade G transition shocks to "half droop". I have found out how to do droop and sprung but how do you get the half droop setting? Thanks |

I don't know squat about that particular CO... And I'm just guessing at what "half droop" means. But will guess that a dual coil spring would be required . a shorter, softer spring above the retainer seat... and a longer, firmer coil spring below the retainer ring(seat). The softer/shorter upper spring would likely allow for some squat... While the lower/longer coil spring would designate ride height. This would be considered a progressive coil spring rate. (dual rate) soft under normal operation... firmer when the secondary coil spring is loaded. Last edited by TacoCrawler; 10-27-2013 at 03:37 PM. |

I've heard it called Semi-droop the most. I have no Idea how to tune those particular shocks but I'm guessing you could try putting shorter springs on both sides of the piston or shortening/cutting down the one that's already in there. That's basically what you do to semi droop an AX-10 shock. On my NB Jeep which is running 90mm axial shocks I just went with a softer springs and changed them out till I got the ride and the height I wanted. I guess this is kind of what the guy above me is saying. Ben |

Im not sure what 1/2 droop is but I think I know what your getting at. I made my transitions without the small spring. If you don't use it the shocks have a lot of drop but at the same time there is still some suspension left in them. Seems to work really well this way.
