Default Custom chassis or mod for trans mount?

I bought an used SCX10 a couple weeks ago and is a very fun rig, however i hate the driveshaft angles on it and the fact that there's not a lot of options to modify the caster angle without going to custom made axles, is there any modification or a custom chassis that allows to mount the transmission lower in the chassis so the angles are not that bad and also to help minimize tip-ability of this truck?

you can make custom links to change your pinion angle and give you better driveline angles.

Making upper links longer will tilt the pinion angle upward giving you a better angle but don't go too far with it.

The angles aren't too bad stock and you shouldn't have binding issues with your drive shafts but you can put a little more upward angle into them

As far as roll overs you need to lower the center of gravity (cog)..Relocating the electronics and mounting the battery as low as possible or just simply use saddle pack batteries and mount them on your skid rails.

Not using super tall shocks and tires will help with this as well..Keep that in mind if you replace any of those on your truck.

For the front axle, you can buy different front knuckles and axle c-hubs, as well as shorten/lengthening upper or lower links. With the rear axle, it's just a matter of link adjustments.

What shocks do you have on it? Sounds like your ride height is taller than stock.

I have the esc and servo on the front, the battery between the motor and electronics and stock shocks. The angle on the rear driveshaft is easy to solve, not so much in the front

GCM Racing has a kit for moving the motor/transmission forward and using a center mounted transfer case.

GCM Racing WebStore-2013 - SCX Mounts Combo Kit

However, it is a lot more money and work than using 8 degree chubs and clocking the axle.

make new links to set pinion angle wherever you want it. Buy BEEF tubes to strengthen your axle, and clock your c-hubs to the angle desired. No need to buy new knuckles or c-hubs unless you want to, but you will have to buy the beef tubes.
