Default Bronco Build

Its time for a new body for my trail rig. Started with a tear-down of the rig to check, lube and tighten everything. Settled on the '73 Proline Bronco body as it matched my wheelbase well.

Next step is to build a bumper, so here's a few progress shots as of this morning.

Paint is in progress next, then onto the body...

A few pics of it pretty much finished. Just needs to go outside and play now.

It will get headlights and probably a full width light bar in the near future.

Thanks, the interior is mounted on the four body posts like normal and then the body is secured to that with Velcro in four places. As long as lipos last I'll likely leave the battery in place for charging.

Got out today for some real trail time out at Corona Del Mar State Beach. Scalers meet up most wednesdays and it has been a month since I've been out to play. Rig did great, just have to add lights and could have stayed out for another hour or more.
