Second, have you given any thought to where you want to mount a spare? I'm thinking on top of the cage or build a rear bumper with a tire carrier.

Thanks.
I measured 5 1/8" between the stock light bar mounts on this new body. I don't think you'll be able to fit the VP 5" light bar.

I haven't thought about a spare tire and it's mounting location yet. I will let you know when I do.

Thanks...... I think.

Your obviously not speaking on behalf of Steve right? That fruitcake wouldn't know what a nice build was unless it was mounting him.

Hey Badger,

I figured out how I'm going to mount my spare tire. I hope you don't mind me sharing my thoughts.

I plan on mounting it on top of the rear portion of the cage, Dingo/Twin Hammers style. I'm going to remove a portion of the cage and install a cross member for mounting the spare tire.

I prefer having a spare on the cage then on a bumper tire carrier. I think, for a G6 ride, this would provide more clearance than a bumper tire carrier maximizing the dove tail design.

Does anyone know how much room that gives you? Is it enough to tuck a tire between the side rails of the cage, or would it sit on top of it?

I got the BGR Jk front bumper mounted tonight, just finished taking a bunch of pics. To tired to edit the photos and post them now, will do that tomorrow.

This is by far my favorite SCX10 build to date.

Awesome build!

I have just noticed that it does not come with a spare tyre..... ! Must be the first kit that Axial has not offered with one....

Is there a reason why? ...I must have missed that thread if it was already mentioned somewhere

I realize I'll have to buy the G6's cage parts, for just those parts
