Who makes the shock hoops you have? They look great! I want some for my JK.

No offense but I don't see what the point is to doing the mod your way. You're cutting the most important part of the body mount IMO (the tapered section below the body pin hole), so if you ever want to flip them back right side up and use them for a taller body you can't.

No offense taken. I can get a couple shorter mounts out of one post (used in conjunction with body washer) and other pieces of plastic can be used for the posts. I guess not a lot of difference, but easier to make a post out of plastic scrap than to make a shock hoop.

Bad a$$ looking builds as aways badger , I'm also looking foward to getting my G6 by next week. And thanks for the idea on the trimming the rear post to lower the body and take away from looking at such a big gap from the rear makes it nice and clean looking.

That is the first time I've heard that saying, but it actually is true! Plastic comes from rubber, and rubber comes from rubber trees! its amazing!

Really I always thought that plastic comes mainly from petroleum based compounds.

I plan on making my own rear bumper. I'm currently working on a rear bumper for my Jeep kit.

I also build a rear bumper with a tire carrier and jerry can holders for a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. And made bumpers for my Toyota Hilux.

I hope this helps anyone is wanted to build there own bumpers.
My G6 shipped yesterday!

Very impressive build, I was checking out SCX10 Jeeps when I came across the G6. I was originally going to get the Dingo but G6 it is. LOVE the axles that your running, they have a great look.

A few of us went out to another incredible day of crawling at the Bean. I should have taken more pictures but I was having to much fun driving my G6 Jeep and the Mog. I'll post up my thoughts on how the rig performed in a separate post.
