Scott Anthony, help a G6'er out! The cat that did the hydro dip does all of Scott Anthony's dipped bodies. The cool thing is, he is just around the corner, literally and his specialty is guns and mounts! | |

Again, I have learned that during a build, don't let one thing hold up the entire build process, jump to another are and "Do Work". I have been "doin' work" on the interior. This is by far, the most scale interior I have ever attempted and I must say, this is fun. Every interior needs switches, gps, and stuff. These can be found at RppHobby, RPP Hobby Gauge, radio, GPS decals , the Official Online HS of the RECON G6. The included interior options where used, as well. The hard part is laying out the interior to your liking. I used the "Convict" or Chain steering wheel. "Convict" because you can drive while wearing handcuffs regardless of your heritage. Criminals are a multi-cultural group. The shifters came off the axial part tree found here; Axial Interior Details Parts Tree - Black and I painted the floor boards black. My favorite dash accessory is the the level gauge. I was taught a long time ago by a grey beard how to "drive by the bubble", so this was the first scale interior thing I mounted! |

Good Friend, G6'er, and YouTube Producer Phenom, Anthony Rivas, does some amazing things with Shoe Goo... This must be one of the most elusive products on the planet or it just knows what I have in store for it, because I ceased the hunt after 3 Club W's (Wal-Mart), both major do-it-yourself stores and the dollar store. Who doesn't want a bargin. I grabbed this, Flexible and waterproof caught my eye. I am always on the hunt to add to the tool box. What do you use? |

I've used shoe too religiously, and I saw some e6000 the other day at the store and swiped the last one . From the small amount I smeared on some lexan it feels promising. Build coming along great Parker, I like the little touches you're doing like the lit tach. |

I really dig the chain steering wheel. It reminds me of the golden years of youth, 16 and freedom of having your own car. My first car was a '67 VW Sedan with a 3sp automatic. Similar to this one. Same color, no sunroof, and snow tires on the back. I always wanted run, but I opted for a 13 in chrome dish! Damn near 6 full turns for a sharp left or right, but man was is stylin'. To this day, I will take a old VW Bug in the snow over a 4wd. But that's just me. For Yoda MacNasty, no chrome...but we will have a wheel good time. Steering wheel primed, Axial horn is painted, and fuel cell hop up has some paint spilled on it, too. The steering wheel is going Gold Medal Flake. I am not a painter, so a quick craigslist search and I found Louie. Louie is a gold flake prodigy specializing in goldfish bowl air fresheners for the dash of your car, but the so far, the goldfish all have an allergic reaction to pine. Finished product. |

I am inspired, to say the least. I am really having fun with the "doll house" effect of scale building. What have I been missing, I even have some scaler swag when I walk now! Some may say "swag" is French for "sashay", but I will sashay all day long because this is FUN. If you are new to the scaler scene, don't be intimated by some of the Smithsonian worthy builds you see here on RCC. If I can do it, anyone can! Here is more interior mods...Gotta have an Optima. Red, Yellow, or Blue Top; Pick your poison. Unpainted in this pic, but test fitted fuel cell filler. |

Nice job man! That battery came out killer, although I prefer the deep cycle marine(yeller top) muh self It's all done hill from here. Next ya know you're in the kitchen using the "good lighting" to cut out a pine tree air freshener half the size of a dime, While the wife just laughs. Safety is concern when out on the trail. I have seen several vehicle fires while wheelin' and a fire extinguisher or three, saved extensive damage and eased trail repairs. Yoda MacNasty is coming the trail proper with a shiny new one. The mount is functioning and I can't remember what parts tree it came off of, but I cut the front off in small increments using an exacto knife until it clamped around the extinguisher. |

I added some "custom to me" touches in the interior. Painted the shift knobs, added a battery disconnect, and my gurl is packin' with a saw off pistol gripped saw off shotgun. If you have ever wheeled the "Bottoms" in Memphis, Tn at night solo, make sure your the "heat" in your wheeler goes bang! For the mount, I cut & E-6000'd a wire loom from the parts tree. |

But my Gurl lives the G6 Lifestyle. She's a shooter when she is not behind the wheel of Yoda MacNasty. I have added a rack and outfitted her with a trijicon sighted AR15 and her very own sniper rifle for those evenings when she feels the need to reach out and touch someone. But C'mon man, there is no way that thing is going into the bush, let alone, going into Yoda MacNasty like that. Some paint spillage and we have this. And placed on stand by. |
