Well KOH is around the corner, electronics got here friday. So now to put in the Power plant. Tekin Roc 412 2300kv, Tekin RS Gen2, and of course a HotWire interface for Fine tuning and custom programming. Sensored brushless is the way to go on this one.
Happy to open this package

All the good stuff.

Hey Rivas,

What spur and pinion gear size will you be using?

I am not sure yet. I should have this installed today, I know I will run 32 pitch for sure. I will have to play with gearing to see what works best.

Thank you. I was curious. I was also wondering why you chose the 2300kv instead of the 3100?

Mainly because it fits my driving style. I want some wheelspeed when I need it, but this is plenty fast enough for me. I am more of a finesse driver.

Finally able to work a little on the electronics today.
For starters the Roc 412 hits the nut and and screw that holds upper link.
http://
So Drop the Tranny and add some spacers from Axial parts tree.
http://
http://
A little Flex Tech to the wires before install.
http://
Finally some progress

Thanks, it just makes for clean install and leaves room for other things I need to add. I am wanting to do a servo winch so I was trying to keep it clean.

So the stock spur will most likely not hold up to the power of the Tekin Roc412, So I switched it our for a 32 pitch. I also am not a fan of stock sliders so I am trying out something different from Matt of LV Issued scalers here in Las Vegas. These sliders look cool and shouldnt hang up to much.

Nice "sliders." You should be able to slide of any rocks.

So I added a Snorkel from DSPro. I looked at a lot of them but I liked this one the best.
