| SCX10 Honcho / Toyota Hilux (Tamiya) Build
Hello, just picked up a Honcho RTR at the beginning of October and have been enjoying the truck since day one. And like most things, I usually rarely accept anything stock so let the modding begin. I am new to the entire RC scene let alone the Crawling scene. I love the scale look of these builds and trying to attempt to build my own scale rig and the one I chose is the Toyota Hilux as most have already done here. Here is my Honcho that I purchased from HobbyTown here in the area. Last edited by trakmasterrs; 11-16-2013 at 08:10 PM. |

I looked at the Mojave body and didn't really like the front end as much. It wasn't as detailed as the Tamiya one. But I do agree with you...the money starts to add up fast with parts here and there...a nice and expensive slippery slope! More pictures! Started to piece together the various Tamiya parts for this build When I bought the Honcho, I also picked up the Axial aluminum links made for the Dingo since I will be mounting a Hilux body, I had to shorten the wheelbase to make it fit right.
