I'm starting my build this weekend. Just curious as to what battery y'all are running in your scx10.

A very board question and will vary based on what the goal for each rig is. I run 3s 5000mah but that is mainly because I want long runtime.

3s1300mah, 3s2200mah and 2s5000mah.

Depends on real estate and intended use.

I run the Venom 2s 5000 mah 30c Hard-case ROAR-approved battery, great run times; with my set-up I get about 2 hours but don't exactly know for sure. (Tekin fx-r 35t system) - axial 4x4 crawler.

turnigy nano-tech 5300mah 2s lipo because they're cheap and work great

Get a cc bec, and then get turnigy 2200mah 3s 40c's. Best thing you can do.

mine runs 4s 2200mah or 5300mah 2s or 5000mah 3s

Venom LiPo 7.4V 5000mAh 30C 2S...purchased from the LHS.

Not done building it yet, but either 3s or 4s x 2 in parallel GForce elite

Venom's are over priced imo. I would stick with a cc bec and a 3s 30-40c 2200-3000 mah.

5000mah venom nihm pack...now before my old charger batteries powersupply ax10 and trail trekker was stolen i was running 4000mah 30 or 35c 2s gens ace hardcase lipos and looooooooooved them

right now its a 2s e-flite 800mah lipo but they are 10 yrs old that i got from a friend, once i find my JST to deans adaptor i will be running an onyx 2s 5000mah 25c hardcase in it. i run this battery in my ax10 and with a 55t motor i get tons of runtime.. also run it in my slash 2wd VXL brushless, i got at least an hour of runtime with me driving the nutsack off my slash, very rarely was i stopped haha.. as soon i can afford to buy rc stuff again i want to buy another one of them batteries..
