GCM products are top notch, I use the sevo mount an it is great, I have not experienced with their Panhard but I am sure its good too.

here you go, I installed there motor forward kit, custom servo mount, and there hard pan kit, and transfer case, in the first pic is my handbrothers custom servo mount and hard pan kit, the Gcm hard pan bar mounts one end on the axle, the other end mounts to the frame, you need to three link your front axle, the hard pan eliminates the bump steering. in the last two is the hard pan bar I made.

Thanks, I got some questions for kgb424, Do you have any touching of the links on the framerails? and the Gcm kit does NOT come with the panhard bar, just the mount? If so, would you like to give me a brief explanation of how you made the bar? Thanks

I'm using the GCM setup on the Loco 57

Loco 57

You have to make your own panhard bar, but once you get it right nothing hits as the suspension cycles.

At full compression...

I went to Lowes, and bought a 1ft long piece of 8/32'' all thread, and they sell aluminum 3/16'' tubing in 6'' inch lengths, that's what I used as a sleeve and two Traxxas rod ends with the steel pivot balls, I had extras of, and some 8/32'' nuts to clear threads when I cut the all thread. If you look at GCM website they say to use a Traxxas #3941 Drag link and bend it, I can't remember the length center to center of balls, but I looked online and made mine the same length and bent it so it clears the axle housing plus I got extra all thread and tubing to make more if needed.

Its not that hard, I figured out the rod length, with the ball ends on, then cut the sleeve to fit in between the rod ends and keep the right length, I then put it on my truck, then compressed the suspension, and marked where it started to hit axle housing, that's where I started my bend, then kept tweaking a little at a time until it clears the axle completely. its not that hard, cause I looked for a pre-curved drag ling, so I wouldn't have to make one, but I couldn't find any, so I made my own and got extra all thread and tubing to make more links, plus the sleeves can be painted to match your trucks color, so you would have custom links that you built your self, its the little things that makes your truck stand out.

Cool, thanks for your help, hopefully I can get the parts ordered within the next few days, and if I can figure out how to post pics of the GCM kit, I will.

make the required number posts, then make the $20.00 membership upgrade, not sure what it is called, but when you pay that you can post pictures and sell things since you now can post pics, it's on here some where, you can read how it works.
