This build will be a mini sized SCX10 utilizing a 1/16 scale body.

Heres the body it will have mounted to it.

Ive determined the wheel base of the body to be exactly 9-3/4" of an inch...the frame will be cut in 2 sections to achieve the wheel base needed to fit.

When I get the frame delivered ill show what I mean by that with pics.

This project may be going on the back burner as im having trading difficulties on here...If its resolved or I use another source to make my trades ill bring it back to life...Sorry to those who had interest in it.

Ok..Problem resolved so back on track with getting parts for the build.

Ive seen a 1/6 body on a new newbright...the whole truck is 100 dollars new so would be a pricey body but not sure of actual wheel base..May need to extend a chassis which wouldn't be a bad thing performance wise or its closer to the 12.3 wb of the honcho/rubicon..like I say not sure...Will cost you 100 dollars plus shipping to find out I suppose..lol

Theres also a 1/10 scale version but again don't know details on dimension.

I think I may have gotten an Axial RTR radio and receiver for the build..Waiting on a response back.

Yeah I don't want a 1/6th. It won't fit regulations.

Well its a no go for the radio and receiver..wasn't able to cut a deal for it...So still looking...or I may just switch back and forth between this project and the custom scaler project with the radio im donating from the Honcho.

I checked my tracking number and should be receiving my Axial scx10 chassis in the mail by tomorrow sometime.

Will post up some pics when it arrives and show more about how im going to cut the chassis to fit the newbright body.

Yea..ive seen the 1/10 but the body I have I bought thinking it was 1/10 but ened up being 1/16...the original seller didn't know what scale it was...when I bought it and told him it wasn't 1/10 he offered to refund me but I decided to keep it anyway..got it for a great price...I don't see very many 1/16 scx10 builds if any on here so im wanting to do something different with it.

On a side note: My package didn't show up todaty with the chassis...checked tracking number again and I guess its stuck in its'current location despite saying it departed from it...Getting some snow in my area so that may be the issue ..Hoping maybe Friday or Saturday ill receive it.

Most definitely.

When I receive it...was supposed to be today..tomorrow not looking good as it a holiday..maybe Friday or Saturday hopefully

I did an scx10 w/ a 1/16 scale cherokee and it looked awesome w/ 1.9 flat irons under it.

Ill have some 1.9 options but may look at the 1.55 wheels/tires ...Ill be narrowing a set of axles also to fit under the body...id like to build this one as scale as possible on the outside.

Side Note: Received the frame today so will have pics soon...Its a stock scx10 frame with an AX10 trans and skid mounted to it...So its nothing we haven't already seen but pics are good..lol
