Default chassis nut and motor

The nut on the inside of the chassis is hitting the motor. I looked back through the instructions and can't find where I am missing something that would keep the motor end plate off the nut.

Any ideas on what I have done wrong?

Flip the bolt, Put the nut on the outside.

I was thinking about flipping it, or getting a thin locknut and trying that for size. At least now I know it isn't something I did

These kits seem really nice, I am surprised Axial didn't get it sorted prior to manufacturing. I guess it must be a small flaw and only happens occasionally.
