Also.. Any recommendations Im running a HH Crawl Master 27t and BRXL, dont need a ton of wheels speed just looking for a good amount of torque! thanks in advance! Norm |

Stock gearing for the RTR trucks are 87T spur gear and 20T pinion gear you could try a 16T pinion and see how that does for you...You may can go more but always watch the motor temp..Heat is a motor killer and you want the best compromise between power and heat. I personally run a 16T with an 87T spur with a custom 27T motor and have zero heating issues. These recommendations are if you are running a 2s lipo..if you run a 3s or better you wont need to gear as low to acheieve you torque goal to crawl but will increase your chances of breaking driveline parts like the driveshafts or a trans gear or an axle. 87 spur and 20 pinion is 4.35,87/14 is 6.2. I have 56/14 and Roc 412 3100kv in mine. Try it out with 87/15-16 maybe? |
