This is the only pic I have on my phone that shows the spacers. Hopefully thus will help. I will take a better pic if I go by my shop later. |

You may not need the spacers if using a smaller can. This is a 550 35t brushed. This is Ford country, on a quiet night you can hear a Chevy rust. |

Here is another. If you look to the rear of the motor, the bottom of the can was hitting the link mount thus causing the tranny to not sit flat on top of the holes. I just used some small spacers I had made and stuck one under each corner of the tranny. I found some screws that matched the desired length. Mip shafts would not work on the rear in this configuration. The bell was touching the spur. Also on the front I had to order a custom length drive shaft. 158-178mm Im trying out a new line of drive shafts. They seem well made. Only time will tell. I'll be running the 35t motor with a HH brxl on 3s. Ive started a build thread at scale 4x4.com if anyone wants to follow along. Thread is called N8's Rig This is Ford country, on a quiet night you can hear a Chevy rust. |

Hey no problem man thats what its all about. I've actually started some tube work on the rear of the rig. Project is moving like pond water. There are so many different ways to build a great rig but I can not decide where to go with it. One piece at a time and keep it simple is what I keep telling myself. Hope the pics helped. SO glad I found this thread! I just started compiling parts for a SCX build and saw a guy on here selling narrowed AR60's. Getting them this week and need to know any tips on proper setup for articulation without binding with a stock SCX chassis and skid. From what I'm reading here, it looks like as long as the links are the right length and bent to clear, there shouldn't be any binding?

I used the Wraith skid/tranny mount. Makes using wraith links possible without mods. No crazy bends. N8's SG3 using Tapatalk Pro |
